Adventure racing is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK. How about running your own company 'adventure race' at Eastnor Castle aimed at all levels of fitness, age with a range of activities.
The event is a multi-activity 'race' between teams ensuring that communication, delegation and leadership are core to the success. The groups have to distribute the activities between the team members according to skills and aptitude. There is a role and an activity for everyone to participate in the skill lies in identifying the team strengths and playing to them.
The morning is spent learning new skills through expert instruction and practising activities. In the afternoon the race takes place on the varied terrain of the 5000 acre estate and works like a relay with communication at the control centre being critical to the success of the team. The activities include kayaking, radio communication, navigation, initiative challenges, abseiling, mountain biking, zip lines and orienteering.
This programme is suitable as a fun corporate day or a serious team building event. It can also accommodate large numbers of participants.
